About Us

Artificial Intel Detector (AID) is an independent publication and directory operated by Littlestone LTD. We help readers understand, compare, and choose AI-detection tools using disclosed methods, repeatable testing, and plain-language explanations.

Our mission

AI detectors are often used in situations where the consequences are real: education, publishing, hiring, compliance, and professional writing. Yet their outputs are probabilistic, their definitions vary, and their results can be misunderstood. Our mission is to make this market easier to evaluate without exaggerating what any detector can prove.

We publish practical product profiles, independent reviews, comparisons, audience-specific recommendations, and original testing. We aim to show not only which products perform well, but also where they fail, what they cost, who they suit, and how confidently their outputs should be interpreted.

What makes AID different

  • Evidence before ratings. We do not publish placeholder scores. An AID Score appears only after a documented evaluation.
  • False positives matter. Incorrectly labeling human writing as AI-generated can cause serious harm, so false-positive protection is a core part of our framework.
  • One consistent framework. Reviewed products are assessed across accuracy, false-positive protection, ease of use, and value.
  • Commercial separation. Affiliate relationships, sponsorships, and paid visibility do not purchase favorable results or higher rankings.
  • Human judgment remains essential. A detector result is an indicator, not proof that a person did or did not use artificial intelligence.

How we test

Our controlled evaluations use disclosed human-written and AI-generated samples, consistent testing conditions, dated product information, and repeatable recordkeeping. We document limitations and avoid implying that one test represents every language, genre, model, or real-world workflow.

Our editorial standards

The AID Editorial Team controls our conclusions, scores, and recommendations. Vendors may alert us to factual errors or product changes, but they do not receive advance approval of our editorial conclusions. When we correct a material error, we aim to update the affected page clearly and promptly.

Products may be included based on reader interest, market relevance, testing capacity, and data availability. Inclusion is not an endorsement, and absence from the directory is not a negative judgment.

See our Affiliate & Editorial Disclaimer for commercial disclosures and our Privacy Policy for information-handling practices.

Who we serve

AID is built for students, educators, writers, publishers, businesses, employers, researchers, and anyone asked to interpret an AI-detection result. Our Best By Use guides organize recommendations around those different needs rather than assuming one product is best for everyone.
